Abstract

The research aims explain the electoral faculties delimitations between the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN) and the Electoral Tribunal of the Judicial Power of the Federation (TEPJF)
in Mexico with the theoretical approach of electoral governance and the first revocation of mandate in 2022 as empirical case. The purpose is to expose the possible conflicts in the spheres of institutional competence between both courts and describe their relevance in the construction of reliable and democratic electoral processes, with the example of revocation of mandate.
